Permission for Group Online Communication - Children and Youth

I give my child/youth permission to be a part of online group activities such as youth bible studies and/or children’s activities using social media platforms such as WhatsApp, Zoom, Emails, Messaging Services etc. (please be aware that some of these platforms require individuals to be 13 years of age). This may also include posting questions to online forums our screened and trained leaders monitor and respond to under the supervision of our Generations Minister.

I understand there will always be at least two adults from the recognised church/parish youth/children’s ministry in attendance. It is my understanding that there will be NO ONE-ON-ONE online communication in this arrangement.

The Church will not disclose personal or identifying details of the child or parent/guardian to any other person, body or organisation unless:

• The parent/guardian gives permission.
• It is authorised or required by law.
